4 different bus lines serving the bus stop close to my new home. Which one do I have to take? I’m new in town. I’m reading the schedule while I realize from the angle of my eye the bus is coming. Which one? Check the number… find the stop. The bus stopped. The driver makes a sign with his head: what’s up? Don’t know, my shoulders go up. Check the schedule. No. The right bus is coming next. I wave my hand to the bus driver who waited for me. I am almost ashamed keeping him from his public service. He smiles, say bye with the hand and continues his journey.

Con il passeggino e i bambini attraverso la strada sulle strisce pedonali e subìto dopo una macchina posteggiata blocca il passaggio.

Un signore scende dalla macchina.

“Signore, ha parcheggiato sopra al marciapiede.”

Il signore tutto sorprese si sporge per vedere cosa c’è davanti al muso della sua auto.

“Marciapiede?” ripete incredulo. “Ma se li c’è la siepe.”

Io lo guardo con il passeggino e i bambini davanti alla fiancata della sua macchina che mi impedisce di proseguire la camminata.

Aspetto. Fiducioso.

“Mbeh che hai da guardare?”

“Niente, buongiorno.” Aggiro la macchina passando sulla strada trafficata e supero l’ostacolo.
